GCAP caters to a range of disciplines and has grown and attracted an engaged audience and esteemed speakers from around the world.

The Focus For GCAP 2022 Is Ambition.

Australian game developers have found their voice in the world and that voice is ambitious. GCAP 2022 will challenge attendees to chase their ambitions and create world class products, experiences, studios, and businesses for an ever-expanding global games audience. GCAP 2022 will provide avenues for personal and professional ambitions to be realised and success to be achieved.

In 2019, US-based Sledgehammer Games embarked on a mission of global expansion, with Melbourne as its first destination. In just three years, the Melbourne studio has become a fully established AAA studio, today having over 150 members and a brand new facility. In this fireside chat, we'll sit down with Studio Manager, Greg Palstra, to talk about the journey the studio has taken over the last three years, the experience of shipping Call of Duty: Vanguard, and what the future holds.
